Bxx: Haunted otherwise known as The Blaylock House is another hyper low budget independent found footage movie.

It tells the pretty standard tale of a group of people who go into a house to record the reported paranormal activities. To it's credit the background to the house is fairly interesting as is the fixed camera's approach.

Sadly that is all the film has going for it. Around 1hr 15 minutes of shouting, shoddy audio, questionable sfx and instantly forgettable characters.

The sad thing is for the first couple of minutes I actually saw potential but that swiftly fell apart.

It's not that nothing happens like most movies of this genre, it's more that plenty happens and you kind of wished it hadn't because it's so dire.

There are plenty of films of it's ilk out there, pick another.

    The Good:

    Couple of good ideas

    The Bad:

All just looks and sounds so shoddy

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

Is the reason that 99% of found footage movies being about ghosts because something invisible is easy on the budget?
